| HOLD THE FRONT PAGE! My new neighbor has arrived, and she’s a REAL bitch, know what I mean. She should be in the movies – she’d be perfect for a remake of Lassie. Off for a quick splash round, then going to get some serious grooming – gotta make a good Impression. All the news that’s fit to print will be here tomorrow.

Superb photographs...I had never considered a cruise to Norway before seeing your photojournal. Between your photos and Jim's blog, this beautiful country has become a very real place that we need to visit as well.
Thanks for taking the time for posting the photos and the blog!
Ciao,
WaWW

I think it’s true love. What legs, all four of them. And eyes to make you wag your tail right off. You know that old saying “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”? Well, it ain’t true, believe me.

MAybe this should be your new doggy jail...and then kick "thatguy" out to cruise more often...if he ever retires!
Just think of all the new tricks you could learn.

You like legs? You should meet my Chocolate Labrador. She's a real sweetheart!

Grrrr. Holiday romances – they never last. As soon as that Doberman arrived, and I saw the look in his eyes and the size of his teeth, I knew old Barney was canine non grata. I’ll just have to go back to my kennel and lick my wounds.
then again ........ I've always had a soft spot for labradors

Thatguy is home soon, they tell me.
Should I go for the happy “gosh, boss, it’s good to see you” approach, or the sulky, sad-eyed “don’t you dare go away again” look? Perhaps next time he’ll take me with him.
I’ll miss this old place, it has been nice making new friends.

The "Gosh, boss, it's good to see you"...Make him feel like you had a better time than he may have had.

They need more unique views. I figured I'd make some of my perfectly reasonable replies on "hot" threads, but include my babies (I usually don't). Thanks for the views.

Or, this time the rescue at sea is taking longer than anticipated.
Or, too much drink and he's been sleeping it off for days.
Or, too many fjords, glaciers and mountains for internet connection to work.
Or, the travel agent got him!

We are home safely,
A very enjoyable trip,
Fantastic weather and some breathtaking views from the various balconies.
Great company.
A lot has changed with NCL since last year if this is the new model across the fleet
Entertainment schedule very different with Second City very prominent.
For this trip the headliner schedule resulted in one of the shows being dropped.
Shows/headlineres are repeated on different days rather than same day(late/early) so if you are a show person you need to adapt.
New menus, as with any change some excellent new dishes some old favourates gone. some of the new stuff not so good. Everyone experience/likes will be different
The lobster/beef wellington was fantastic, on the seafood extraviganza(on linguni) night I had a great seafood plate made up in the Alizar as a followup entree, First night Cagnies excellent meal and atmosphere(very quiet gets noisiy when full).
The Asian menu is much improved allthough consitency on some dishes varies, Spare Rib portion is big for a starter compared to the others, they are very good.
Hot Wings in blue lagoon much improved.
Italian you have to work to find the cover value, great as an early bird 1/2price if you want to get some show time.
The Jade still has some challenges to overcome to get to the next level, some are logistic related, getting supplies throught the European ports which have had some strikes this year, Some seem to be related to the NCLA history, there are lots of little things that just don't happen unless you ask or point them out, others get done before you even know there was a problem, Nothing serious but takes the edge off perfection. The Jade stays on out list.
BTW the suite upgrade for the parents was a big hit.
Those aft balconies are serious suntraps when the sun is low in the sky, 30mins and you are toast midday. Fantastic for the morning/evening/night.
