Probably because this is how CAS inherited people like MACOP.

Actually when I spoke to the supervisor I told her that I was calling because of internet rumors. I asked her if it would be alright to post what she had told me to try to quell the rumors and she said that would be fine with her and wd appreciate it.
Figured it made sense to call rather than have everyone speculating. Oh course as with anything I'm sure it can be subject to change!

Category BC (1st available balcony) total for 2 cruise and fee’s only $ 3293.44
=================================
As listed on NCL.com booking engine, per person:
Category BC: $1,599.00
Fuel Supplement: $143.00
Gov't taxes, fees: $103.72
====================================
Your price: $ 3293.44/2 = 1646.72 per person
$1646.72 - 143 - 103.72 = 1400 <-- cruise fare per person
A cruise fare reduction of about 14%.
====================================
14% isn't good enough.
1) You're also latitude (After signing in, the NCL.com website showed for this cruise: "Book Today! Free upgrades"
2) If you gamble, call them and make them look up your last cruise's total CAS points and give you prices over the phone. 1-877-752-9625
Good luck!

I was a bit disappointed to say the least. Last cruise was 14 days and we were in the casino almost all the time it was open.
I booked with my union TA where I got Latitudes and Union discounts and will get a 5% rebate when I return. Most important, I got a TA I know and trust and who will take good care of me.

I agree completely. Everytime some idiot gets on the boards and advises people to take cash from the casino to get points on their cards it just pisses me off royally and I try to point out to them that the cash is for gamers not just another way to take NCL for something. If enough of them keep this up, it will no longer be free to us gamblers and then we'll have to bring cash because I'm sure not going to pay a surcharge to give them my money. I would hope that NCL would find a way to still have free cash available to their rated players.
