I can handle paying a small price for a specialty restaurant, but I'm not sure until they show us some prices if I'd like paying a set prices for certain menu items individually.

It looks like the future of the cruise industry is to go with more ala carte meals and pay to eat dining options. Not sure that I like where the future of cruising is going. Why not raise the base price of the cruise and just up the food budget to give everyone better overall quality?
That how I feel, Gordon. Maybe it's because I started cruising so long ago, way before there were any "specialty" restaurants. The food in the one and only dining room was excellent and the service superb.
Now, they are scrimping in the main dining room, trying to force people to go to the specialty places and pay more.
I really hate that concept.
