Costa Cruises is proud to announce its new partnership with world renowned Italian Chef Ettore Bocchia. Executive Chef at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio on Lake Como, which was awarded 1 Michelin star in 2005, he is also the creator of the revolutionary molecular cooking. In the scope of this partnership with Ettore Bocchia, Costa Concordia and Costa Serena à la carte Restaurants and Samsara Restaurants, will be under the direct supervision of this award-winning chef. His innovative cuisine promises to excite and delight the senses of Guests aboard this gem of the ocean.
Molecular cooking uses scientific knowledge and cutting edge cooking techniques to create new dishes. Ettore Bocchia studies the physical and chemical properties of individual ingredients to develop innovative dishes and create new and appealing flavours.

Since 1939, the staff at Zeffirino’s has gained universal recognition and merits for their great culinary skill including the introduction of pesto sauce all around the world.
