If you're looking for a new and unique cruise itinerary, Costa may be able to deliver. The Italian cruise line recently announced the Costa Marina will depart from Mauritius on six 14-night Indian Ocean cruises between December 22, 2007, and March 1, 2008. The itinerary includes calls at Mahè, Seychelles; Mombasa, Kenya; Mayotte; Nosy Be and Toamasina, Madagascar; and Réunion.

Shore excursion highlights include visits to island beaches, botanical gardens, and national parks, as well as wildlife safaris. The cruise also includes overnight stops in Mauritius and Mahè.

If you think some of the more popular itineraries are becoming worn out, you can shake things up with a cruise on a less familiar ocean.
