A Co-worker kept coming back from cruises saying how much fun they had.  We hesitantly booked a cruise not knowing what to expect.   It was me, DH, DS13, friends and their DS15.  We weren't even excited because we thought we would be bored, dreading those days with nothing to do.  Well, we were wrong!!

Cruising is great. I love it and to me is the only way to travel.

You either love them or you don't. I'm glad to see you're hooked like the rest of us!

My mom went for her first cruise in 1980. When she got back she raved and raved about what fun it was.  All I could think was it was going to be a ship full of old farts and be a drag.
But, almost 2 years later she took me on my first cruise and I was hooked!  What a wonderful time I had!!!!!!

One of my sisters had already been on a cruise.  She and a friend were planning another and asked if I wanted to go along.  I wasn't sure if it would be my kind of vacation, but I decided to give it a shot.  Boy, am I glad I took the chance.  We had a great time and I've never looked back.

Years later I was talking with a co-worker about my love of cruising and he just couldn't see it . . . thought it would be too confining as he liked to stay active.  Well his wife convinced him to go on a four-nighter and when he came back he could not stop raving about the good time he had.   He booked another, longer cruise right away.  LOL.

All it takes is that first step, and then more often than not you're hooked for life.
