Why am I not surprised to see you reading this thread? Since I am here for the first time, and I admit I haven't read the previous pages. I am drinking an Australian Shiraz called "The Ballbuster". I figure it is somewhat relevant.
This is my first visit as well! I just stopped in to see what the hell Jen was doing over here! I actually thought this was the fashion thread!

Dude, she asked to be poofed to keep from offending someone that she didn't realize was a member. There IS a difference.

And while Jen may think we need a special cruise, just like any other theme or group it's nice to vacation with like minded people. Hell, it's nice to vacation with open minded non-judgmental people where you don't have to worry about you tablemates or the direction of various conversations, like nudity or other alternative lifestyle choices. Very well stated.

I love to chat. I am enjoying reading all the posts. Plus I get bored easy. I am pretty sure I am ADD. Add that with the Overpacking issues and the germaphobic issues I have I am a walking billboard for help.
and since your dress blends in pefectly with that wall you can be the billboard too.
I will do better and find another picture or have hubby take one on our cruise this weekend. Will that be better?

To sum up the thread:
Some people like to have an "alternative" arrangement. In other words, they want to sleep around with the blessing of thier spouse. For whatever reason, they think they need a special cruise for that.
So...if you are into that kind of silliness, you might be able to tag along on the cruise.
I know a few marriages where this arrangement is happening and only one of the spouses is aware of it.
Isn't that called cheating?

I hope you know I was just kidding with you and giving you a hard time. I didn't mean any offense. It is a fine picture.

I know you are joking. I was taking jabs at everyone's "colorful" avatars. I do not think I am going to post anything as bold though. lol Especially not of myself. I will not go as far to say there are not some photos that I could post though.

Yes, it is. And it's frowned on even more in the lifestyle than in the normal world.

By "Lifestyle" do you mean the Mormons?
This is getting even more interesting!:bag:

A little advance warning would have been good on that one.
FWIW, I have a few friends who embrace this lifestyle. It's not for me at ALL, but that's neither here nor there. I think Jedi was saying that "extracurricular" activities outside of the knowledge of the spouse in that lifestyle is frowned upon. Whether that behavior is less acceptable in the lifestyle or outside of it, I can't really say.
All I can say is that I'd have a new necklace with a few pretty 'jewels' on it if I ever caught my husband doing that. Been there, done that....won't allow it again! I only divorced the first one for it. This time I'll be out for a bit more than that!

I don't blame you. Never have understood cheating on your spouse. If you don't love and respect them enough for that, how can they trust you with anything?

I've never understood it either. If you really have the itch to roam, why not at least do the halfway respectable thing and end your previous relationship first? I'd still be hurt, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather be dumped than cheated on! While my spouse may no longer love me enough to be married to me, at least he had enough respect for me and our marriage to end it before seeking greener pastures.

Imagine if they actually knew more about us! That opinion was based on the fact that we said we were upset that Carnival had ended the topless deck so abruptly (March cruise with the topless deck being removed in February)
