I just looked at the dates and those work well for us! Assuming I get this job then I'd only miss one Sunday. (I will get four off per year.)
I don't know if you'd posted this part earlier, but I just noticed this place has a fondue restaurant. That's great fun with a big group of people!
EDIT: Oh, and I'm almost 100% sure that my sis and her hubby didn't pay those prices! I'm sure Rich will be able to come up with something much better.  I think they paid around $2100, including airfare.

Just checking out the reviews and pics and Houston we have a problem! There are car sized sandbags all over the beach and in the ocean? I guess its some kind of erosion control. Are these gonna be there in two years? My expectations are not over the top but giant sandbags on the beach could be a deal breaker for me!

| hmmmm..I don't see any sand bags covering the bar so I think I'm all good! Actually from what I read they are trying to recapture the sand lost in that last huge hurricane and they are all over Riviera Maya and who knows how long they will be there...

If there are not any sandbags covering the bar now...................there will be when you sit down!
Sreioulsy, The main reason we go to AIs is to hang on the beach and swim play in the waves all day. It would be a huge negative to have to look at and dodge sandbags on the beach.
Just something to think about since we have not paid a deposit yet?:bag:

If this is not a problem for anyone else we will prolly still go but this is not the cheapest property in Mexico and I would expect a veiw a little more like a Corona commercial!:popcorn:

| So I just told Rick about it, and he is ok with it. I think I'll book. Even if a bunch of you losers don't end up going, the place is gorgeous and I can't wait! I can't believe I am planning a 2010 vacation already!

Good for you Deb!!! Bama can sit in his sand bagless sandbox by himself and the rest of us will be living it up at El Dorado!
Rich will have us some booking info next week..either prices OR a date when we will get 2010 prices and can book then...so how long of a roll call thread will a 2 year wait make?

Just read a review that said part of the beach has the bags to collect sand..here is a pic showing where the bags stop so isome of the beach is clear...who knows they may all be gone in 2 years..

Wow makes the water at NCL's private island look rock free. I have no issue with sand bags but how do you swim in the ocean there.
