Okay Fin, when was the last time you stayed there? LOL  I don't put a lot of stock in these reviews, but I just want to make sure this one is okay, I don't ever like the word Hostel :roflmao:

I have to call and talk to another lady there to book the group, and hopefully she won't give me another story, LOL.  I asked about availability for 10 rooms and he said they have it.

vote 9 blocks to the harbor!!!!

tumblin' in, stumblin' out!:bananas:

we'd spend the room difference in cab fare anyway!

That's what I was thinking too.  If Fin vouches for it, I'm all for it!!!

I know, I generally pay little attention to those reviews, but with that area, it's so hit or miss.  But Fin has stayed there so I would take her word over the morons on those review sites.  I would want to make sure that nobody ever "walked" alone around there, which I wouldn't recommend anywhere in Bmore anyway! LOL!!!  There is a large homeless population in that whole area, but they generally won't bother anyone.  Just carry some change :roflmao:

oh crap...the reviews seem to be in the crapper, lol...

oh well, if the hotel is iffy, and the area to walk to and from is gonna put us in a cab anyway, then maybe we shld stick with embassy suites...

like repete stated, their product is pretty consistent.  and you get breakfast, free airport transportation, free happy hour (if we happen to be there)...

It would seem they are addressing the problems with the new manager and renovations.

I am up for any place.

Ok, ok.   Due to "wife" pressure, I am going to join in on the fun.

We'll be in B-more for the festivities.  Will even try to roll the kegerator into the back of the Subaru.

From what I have read, we will need more than one flavor ....  Miller Lite is the preferred beverage here at Casa Fin.

Thanks.   Seemed to fit in with the rest of the gang.

My hubby is a BUD man. We'll bring Bud! And I love Lemoncello! I'll stash that in our bag too! I can make a great mix for anyone who's interested!

There are enough bars within walking/stumbling distance of Inner Harbor.  Never did the water taxi.  Can't remember the plaza that we went to, but it had a plethora of entertainment areas right there.  We can find it.  Maybe.  Will have to try the "Beerfest" strategy.
