That is the one we were going to go with, problem is, all the hotels at the harbor have a 4 day minimum stay when the Yankees are in town  I'm going to try to call them and sweet talk them tomorrow, LOL

fin, this link, (which falls off the width of my puter screen), isn't working for me. what is the name of the hotel??? if it is within walking distance for $159, and doesn't rent rooms by the hour, we may have a winner. but, i have to stress...i am good even by bwi. it's gonna be a blast either way!
btw...does fin know, that none of us ever got into the habit of calling you "fintoo", lol??? since he's never on the boards, we never had to!
but, now we are gonna have to break that habit for baltimore or he'll be turning his head everytime we call you.

LOL Sorry! Blame it on the beer consumption and my limited posting skills.
I'll make some calls today and see if they have a minimum stay and let everyone know what I find out. and yes, if the group finds a better rate farther away, taxiing could be fun!
As for the name, he'll be fine! His fault for not posting except on roll calls! Or ya'll can call me T and him Fin, whatever!

If we can't find rooms I would be willing to let all the ladies put their heads on my lap for a quick power nap at the bar.It would be a sacrifice for me to do that, but I'm a helpful kind of guy.
Now if mrdood would offer the same service to the gentlemen we could all save a few hundred bucks on lodging!
P.S. I have a sleep-matic lap. You can adjust the firmness... from soft and snuggly to extra firm! Total comfort!

Okay, Embassy Suites will be $129 for a double and $99 for a single. They have complimentary cooked to order breakfast and happy hour. They have complimentary airport shuttle, and also a shuttle to the amtrak and light rail. They also have free parking. If we want to go with this one they will set up a group website within a few days and we can book on our own there. It's about a 15 minute cab ride to the harbor...

all kidding aside, with the way things are going with hotels, we shld pick something very soon and book it to get it off the table.
if something better opens up later, we can always switch. but we shld be careful to not get locked out completely.

Okay, I talked to a guy at the Mt Vernon, and he was oblivious to the minimum stay and said it could be a glitch in the website. Double Queen rooms are $159 there. 9 blocks to the harbor. So, now we have a decision... $129 for Embassy Suites with a 15 minute cab ride to the Harbor, or $159 for Mt Vernon with a 15 minute walk to the Harbor. Thoughts?
I have to call and talk to another lady there to book the group, and hopefully she won't give me another story, LOL. I asked about availability for 10 rooms and he said they have it.
