Actually he was about to hop froggy on a tasty katydid when I snapped that! We seeded the area a few years ago with mantid egg sacks and now we have them every year. They definitely cut down on the pesky critters.
Do they eat slugs?? Boy could my yard use them!!
I know of nothing that will eat a slug. Just pour some salt on them and they will melt into a puddle.

A farmer told me you can also pour beer into a shallow dish and it works like a trap. He said the slugs find it irresistible and they crawl into it and it kills them! I got plenty of beer so I should try this!

That will work unless you have other critters that end up drinking the beer.
A drunk watch dog doesn't do much watching.

It works and they traps with a lid to keep the dog out

Nice thing about falling off a pier is the chance of a broken neck is slim...unless you fall into a boat!

I found some stuff a year or two ago in a green bottle. Said something about slug pellets....
It works great. Poured some on my front porch and 24 hrs later there where 10 - 15 dead and dryed.
Not as much fun as the salt but very effective. And OH you can use Windex to do the same thing. I guess its the Amonia in it.?

I've never figured out why St Kitts doesn't have a bigger destination draw. Why do they lack in tourism??

That was June 14, 2006. Very good conditions for red delight sunset!
Wide angle: (looks like it's from a movie!)

Strong telephoto:

8 hours later it's time to take a walk around. Senor Frog's has been closed over an hour and all the drunktards have left. The port is a ghost town!
