My heart is screwed up I am told.

Just when you think you've found the limits it happens again and you realize you're not even close.  Scarier even it's happening again!

They might have to perform cardioversion on your heart one day, and you'll have to tell them to crank up the paddles!

No, you'll probably be riding the end of a bolt. Hope someone gets film. Your luck it will be posted on youtube rather than Discovery Channel! hee hee

Great shot of the lightning Dave! I thought of you today and all your great pictures. As I was driving home, camera in my suitcase, two airplane wings passed us. Okay, they were on 18-wheelers and probably headed for one of the aircraft plants, maybe Wichita. ;)

I actually have a backup plan.  The camera supporting structure is made of extremely high quality carbon fiber tubes that have a dielectric strength (non condensing) of a million dc volts.  The storage is capable of withstanding EMI fields exceeding a 10 megaton airburst directly overhead and will retain data even if immersed in seawater at 120+ MPa for two years.  (that's deeper than the Mariana Trench LOL)

So if our ship gets torpedoed, hit by a 100 meter rogue wave, sucked into a whirlpool, suddenly founders due to lack of buoyancy from a sudden release of methane gasses underwater (Caribbean volcano syndrome), even attacks from  Cthulhu!  The data should survive.  What's on those chips would probably terrify anyone.  Think Cloverfield.

I prefer just to put stuff on youtube.  At least now we shoot exclusively in 1080 HD. :ooooh:

At least they passed you not attached to a fuselage!

I'm not familiar with Cthulhu. Explain please as I'm too tired to Google. ;)

Good night Sheila!

Light source close to axis of lens causes eyes to glow.  People's eyes glow too.  That's the red-eye in photos.  If you hold a flashlight and look down its barrel while it's pointing at someone's face you will see their eyes glowing red.

Animal eyes can glow very bright at long distances.  Many times I've heard foxes screaming loud in the night only to find them standing 100's of yards away when I turn the spotlight on them.  Without this 'feature' I would not have been able to spot them in the woods.  Sometimes their screams resemble people making out. :lmao1:

There was screaming this day, but no making out....the picture I took just before I fell was a dead mouse in the leaves. My face just missed it when my body finally stopped sliding. The rest of the body is banged up and I'm still screaming when I hobble around.
Today's hike was pure punishment, but I figured it would help the bruised muscles ...... and the ego.
The grey ghost loves the water, despite's it's pollution.
