We stayed at a little hotel right on the square, next to the building with the tall tower. Alas, we had to move on to get to Octoberfest in Munich! (yes, married in June, honeymooned in Sept). I would love to go back some day. I hope the cruise industry hasn't changed the city too much. How many ships stop there (Zeebrugge) and how many people head to Brugge?
Ahhh. I was just thinking about the little cafes and eating dinner on the main square, and the wandering around the back streets and seeing the same canal views you saw.
Did you buy any lace?
Zeebrugge is a regular stop now, and from what I've heard it's 50/50 going to Brugge. I bought my hairdresser a hand embroidered table linen set as a wedding gift. Absolutely gorgeous with the cutouts in the center and the corners, with 8 napkins. Cost about $35!!Last edited on Fri Jun 29th, 2007 04:07 am by pcur
