I think I've made an error... and I need some brains to help me.
Booked a guarantee sy cabin. If there are none, then they upgrade. BUT could they give me a handicap sy cabin?
I don't have a problem with one of these, but a certain cruiser that is going too loves her tub........ and I read that handicap cabins don't have tubs???? Is that correct on HAL??? (Oosterdam)
And is it Ohhh ster dam OR Oooooo ster dam???Last edited on Wed Aug 27th, 2008 01:43 am by seawitches

Unlikely they'll book you in a handicapped cabin -- and even if they do, and they then need that cabin, they'll move you again. You'll get AT LEAST your SY -- and from what I've read, probably an upgrade.
If they DO book you in a handicapped cabin (you can check on their website using your booking number) you can always call and tell them you'd rather not take that cabin in case someone else needs it.

I just read that HAL makes you fill out a pax form as proof of your need for handicap accomodation to ensure those cabins are used ONLY for handicap. I am seeing only 3 sy handicaps on this ship. (not many is it?)
Some posters say there is a tub, but the shower is located in a bad spot re toilet.
I haven't the foggiest, but did read that your steward can open the balcony divider and you can have the whole bow to yourself in those rooms. Maybe it would be my opportunity to do the Titanic Song!

Of course.... I'll stick that baby on a funnel or something up there, and hit the remote. What should I wear??? Maybe that would be a good question for the fashion board on the DS??? Anything to stir the pot from some of those shrivelled up old prunes, or the chickie that's DH is the Ambassador or Attache to the UK.... (ya ok... whatever). Some of those chicks are so full of shit and themselves............ sigh.
I think, skin tight and formal. Sorta DarkJedi like. Maybe mermaid hem line!
