| We had a great cruise! There are plenty of things to share and I will over the next few days. My son Josh has already posted a couple of memories on the Operation got milk thread but there are many more.

Thanks.
Josh started posting at Paradise Beach. He had a blast with "Operation Got Milk" and wanted to share it.
Paradise Beach was a blast. Tom rolled out the red carpet.
The only negative was not having a way to post pics. The kids wanted to show yall all the milk they smuggled.

When you download your pictures you can put a link here, then we can see the milk!
Tom does a great job of making you feel welcome! He's a wonderful, friendly host and we really had a great time at PB!

Tis true. We wouldn't want to corrupt the kid. Or blind him with a view of those cheeks!

Isn't that what "uncles" are for? Educating the young?

Well, somebody has to do it. You can't count on the parents telling them about the real world.

The entire vacation was very National Lampoon like. It stared out preparing for a 4 to 5 hour minivan ride to New Orleans with plans to make it on time for dinner at Mulates and then hit Bourbon Street. I must say today’s modern technology has made a road trip with kids almost bearable. We had ipods, hand held Nintendo’s, and we even have a mini movie theater where the kids can watch one move after another if they choose. It’s almost like not having them in the car. The downside of technology is that keeping all of the connections strait and being able to find them when needed can be a hassle. Josh my 13 year old (Swift Udder) is all about the movies. He loves everything about them. He plans to be a major motion picture director and has about 10 movies to his credit to date. We were in the driveway ready to roll and we were even close to the time we had planned to leave the house. ( TW had done outstanding job packing, preparing and making sure nothing would be left behind. It would have almost been easier to wrap a chain around the house and freaking drag it behind the van to the port of New Orleans.) I was shocked that everything was going so smoothly when it was discovered by Josh that the connection for the DVD player was not in the car. No big deal I thought it was here someplace. The search started out calmly enough and as it became apparent that it was not going to be found, things began to spiral out of control. 45 minutes later after I had unloaded the entire packed car and turned the house upside down, I was ready to kill the entire family bury them in the back yard and go on the freaking cruise alone!
In all of the chaos the cat got out of the house and was down the street, The Doberman jumped in the car and buried herself in the back of the van. When I finally got the dog out I grabbed her by the collar to bring her back into the house. I took her around the back of the van and got to close to the electric dog fence in the front yard. I though oh shit when I heard the collar start to alarm. The poor dog "took one" for the family. She almost did a back flip when the electric shock went through her body and I had to drag her back in the house with her four legs in a locked position. Finally the cat was rounded up the door was closed and locked and we pulled out of the driveway, everyone was pissed off at each other and still without the freaking connection that kept us delayed for close to an hour. TW told Josh we would buy a connection along the way but I refused! It was time to take a technology stand. I went on many road trips in the camper as a kid and all we ever had was the window over the truck cab to entertain us. If that was good enough for us then Josh could make it to NOLA without a movie fest the entire trip.
