Hi Everyone         My house was clean when I got home. It just smells.  My dog, Ruby, got sprayed by a skunk. The girl watching her gave her 5 baths. It wasn't enough. We had to go to the store and buy special shampoo. Things are a little better today.

I miss the man that brings juice and danish to the room.

Gregs overview edited with some additions :big grin:

We met up with all the other OGGs at the Star Bar to call Jim and toast the newlyweds, then went out on the decks for an unbelievable sailaway in NY, 60+ degrees, no jacket and a beautiful sunset.  Dinner at Cagneys was great and then we took the kids to the welcome aboard show.

The first sea day was a doozy.  After a night of rocking and rolling, we woke to 14’ seas, and 60+ know winds.  It was hard to walk down the halls without bumping into the walls.

The second sea day was much better and the ship was back to normal.  Great weather, great seas and a fun day onboard.

Our first port was St. Thomas and we were taking an NCL excursion to Coral World.

Back to the ship and onboard a little before sailaway.

Our second port was Antigua and the extended Hogan family took a bus to the Grand Pineapple Resort for a day of fun, food and drinks.  Chris&Jimmy, Fil&Pierre, Deb&Win, Pete&Leslie, Greenie&Joe, Legalsec(Kathy) and Chesquinn were all on the bus, I think it was 19 in all.  Sean Beazer was our driver and was very courteous and timely, we’d use him again.

After overwhelming the young lady giving us our daypasses it was off to the beach and looking for drinks.  It took the OGGs about 5 minutes to get their first round.  Most of us found chairs on the beach, right at the entrance in true NY fashion.  Pete and Win found some nice comfy chairs 20 feet from the bar and proceeded to have their first of many Wadadlis.  Because the drink cups were so small we got a lot of exercise running to the bar and back.  Buffet lunch was served at 12:30, and then back to the beach, or in Pete and Win’s case, back to the same chairs near the bar.  Jimmy entertained Spencer and Liam with his sound effects in the pool for a little while and Leslie went shell hunting with Spencer, but the beach has no shells.  What’s that all about??

3:00 and back to the bus.  It was probably the best beach day we’ve had in all of our cruises.  We had dinner in Tequila that night, and probably saw some of the Oggs later, but I can’t remember.  I’m finding a lot of holes in my memory, I wonder why that is?

Our third port was Bridgetown Barbados.

Great job adding the pics Jim.  I forgot to mention that the picture of the pool from GPR was taken just about the same time as Jimmy, Chris, Amy, Fil, Pierre and I along with the boys were at the pool.  That person in there might be Jimmy, he was in first.

When you get to the rest of the story I have a few more pics.

It looked very windy at PB on the live video. Was it ?

So I watch you guys come home yesterday and the start of reviews of what had to be a great time. Just when I thought I could not get more depressed I get a call last night from my oldest son:

Where was he. Same place as he has been since Thu. The infield at Daytona. Staying in one of the six luxury motor homes of one of Dale Jr's sponsors. Full access pit pass for Friday & yesterday. Access to golf carts to travel around the infield. One truck just to pull the giant cooker - 50 pork butts, 200 racks of ribs, steaks, chicken etc.

Now I have to say I was very jealous :shoot me:

Yes, I seem to recall some wind, not terrible though.  What a great place.  Lil Mac, I'll send you a PM.

Good morning all...since we spent all day Saturday at Newark, we slept until 11am. Plane was delayed and not an easy day for us!  Remind us next time to NOT stay up all night with some New Yorkers that live close. :big grin: Thanks Jim for texting with us.

We are unpacked and the boat is still rocking but we do miss all of you. Greg, you are the official review writer...you remember more than I do of certain day and nights.

later...

I agree :P

I've had a giant sized bowl of soup and now I'm sitting down with the OWG's, Toblerone dark chocolate and a Porto. I know but it's FIVE O'CLOCK SOMEWHERE.

I'm fighting off PCD with all my might and a little help :roflmao:

I was certain it was not you but had to ask :big grin: Not something that happens to professional drinkers like us. :roflmao::shottime::roflmao:

Heck on my virtual cruise I did a swan dive off the back of the ship after back to back clinics, :rule:
