Karen, I hope everything works out with Larry's parents.

Cloudy here today, but supposed to be getting warmer. Going to finish all de-decorating except for tree and nativity scene. They will go after Monday sometime. I have to cut the tree into pieces to get it out of the house. Teresa has suggested we just cut the branches off :P.

I keep thinking I would like a GPS, then we go for a long stretch without going anywhere unfamiliar and I forget about it. One day... As to those coffee machines, we'd go broke buying the little packets I think. We got these neat tea things from Adagio.com that use loose tea. Put in the tea, add water, let steep then put the thing on top of a cup and tea strains through the bottom. We have about 20 different cans of loose tea that we get online.

Al, so funny that's how we get our tree out. Only way it will fit oput the door, we get it all all package up so it will fit then when we open it there's no way.

We travel to a lot of places new going to different timeshare I trade. Plus when we're in Virginia and we're going to different places we wopuld have an idea instead of just following my SIL. :big grin: which can be an adventure in it's self.

Paul, I like your dinner menu.

Grace thanks and tell Sam thanks for his tech support, :P I will start shopping soon. I haven't been to a store yet since before Christmas and I dio liek to get some of the sales. I need more wrapping paper for next year plus I also like to see ehat cloths they have marked down after the holiday. I just hate to go into the store;)

Karen hope your FIL is feeling better real soon, my prayers will include you and your family.

Have a great Sunday!

Good morning

Looks like we are going to have a nice day today.  Tomorrow looks even better.

Thanks for the thoughts for my inlaws.  Hope the Dr. gives us all some insight tomorrow.  Something is definately wrong though.

Judy I have been researching companies on the internet to get the K-cups for the machine.  So far the cheapest I have come up with is $42.00 for a case of 100 - with free shipping!  Works for me as long as I don't have to use my  $3.23 / gal. gas for my car to shop for it I am happy.  Once Larry figures out which one he likes best I will order it.  Steven liked the Hot Chocolate but I won't buy a whole case of that.  So far so good though, they both learned how to use the machine and I haven't had to clean up anything...the price we pay for less work...lol.

I have to go to Walmart today.  I signed up for a knitting class at the library and I have to get my supplies.  I want to make blankets for my church to give to the women's shelter and also to the Nursing Home.  Nothing fancy, just nice blankets to keep those less fortunate warm and it gives me something else to do.

Have a really good day.

Morning

As I sit here drinking  my third cup of coffee I know that I would be spending a fortune on K-cups. It does sound great even for the kids with the hot chocolate .I grind my coffee beans in a separate grinder then I have the coffee maker a pain in the neck with all the different steps I never use the auto features which would be nice during the week because I want my coffee before I even get out of bed .Joe just doesn't provide that service:big grin:Now he went back to  sleep and never had coffee so I will have to make it again for him since this pot was made awhile ago.Life:sleepy:

House is a mess  Stuff everywhere .It is making me nuts .Joseph has decided today is the day he is clearing out his room to get it ready for his makeover.Mom is NOT READY but DEAR SON is. I gave him boxes and told him to load them up One for things going in the attic the other for things he wants to keep.Well as of this moment the upstairs hall is littered with toys not good.So between all the Christmas mess and  now upstairs is trashed I could scream.I am going to get downstairs done first and as planned start his room next week I haven't even picked out paint .I did get the bed set all Wrestling and curtains  to match .I got him pictures of his favorite wrestlers to hang and I have to order him The wall art that he wants from a company on line that sells all the wrestlers. No borders and as far as I know we are leaving the rug down His is in good shape and right now Joe is in no shape to be installing a new floor.I am looking forward to doing his room just not the mess.

My crazy life .I need to go away for a week or so and maybe the house will fix itself .

Lee, that is what I need too.

Now I have my precious little beagle boy - Shiloh taking all of the used k-cups out of the garbage as we are throwing them away..so much for not having anything to clean up with this machine.  He is a handful for us.

I could use new paint and new carpet in 2 of the bedrooms.  After the 3 dogs from hell leave this life I am going to have all the carpets removed and go back to wood floors.  I have a ways to go though.  They are all young.

Back to Macy's today after Walmart.  Someone gave me a Kathy VanZeeland pocket book for Christmas and it just isn't me.  I don't have the receipt, but they will give me $80.75 back.  I will probably use the $$ towards another Dooney and Bourke.  Love my bags!!  Larry gave me a beautiful D & B Black Leather Satchel for Christmas.  I love it so much.

Karen that Kathy Van Z bag was probably much more .It stinks when you don't have the receipt or the gift receipt because they get ya with the markdown price.

I am a Coach lover .Joe for Christmas bought me the one I wanted .I guess the pictures I printed out and left on the computer helped;) I wanted Brown to match the coat and boots he bought too:big grin:He also received in the mail a 20% off special customer coupon and we bought Jennifer one too.She uses a bag everyday for school .Not allowed to carry it around but can have one in her book bag .:confused:Hers is small not the smallest size but one up.
We got her black with silver .

Warm out Cloudy and gloomy but not cold.

Cooking a nice dinner last day of Christmas .The Wise Men have arrived:big grin:

I just realized that when you set up the nativity the Wise Men shouldn't be out until today.I always take the baby Jesus out but the Wise men shouldnt be there .They are traveling  .Next year I am going to remember and do it right;)

Back from shopping...it was fun.

Lee, the Kathy Van Z was $95 and they gave me back $80.75.  I didn't think that was too bad - after all it was a gift.  I looked at the D & B counter but none of the bags were on sale.  The lady told me that you get better pricing on the Macy's website.  I think someone else is giving me a Macy's gift card this week (we didn't get to see each other before Christmas) so I will wait and combine all the gift cards.

I was going to make sauce for dinner tonight, but, I got back too late.  I will make it for tomorrow night.  Larry ordered a pizza before I got home.

Ok, I have to research a few things for my niece for her birthday.  She will be 13 on Thursday, which I really can't believe.  She wants either Abercrombie or Aeropostle and Uggs...who created this monster????  Her favorite Aunt Ka!!!! :big grin:

Have a good night.

I'm wide awake and it's time to go to sleep. :sleepy:The alarm will ring early :( I've been back to not sleeping well at all. :flamin: well just getting worst.

The weather looks great for this week, :big grin: my one secretary is on the Explorer this week and she made a few comments on how warm it was going to be while she wasn't here.

When she returns my other secretary  goes to Puerto Rico for 2 weeks. She rents a condo every year.

I'm a staff person short till Feb :shoot me:

No winter vacation for me. :( But I have March to look forward to :big grin:

Good Monday morning ;) The weekends go by so fast. It's going to be a long week ahead till the next weekend.

The snow was melting so fast last night that it sounds like it was raining as it was running off the roof, I actually got up and checked to see if it was raining and what the temps were :(

Looks like it will be a great week weather wise I was worried the mornings were going to be below 32 but so far on the weather channel one morning looks like it might be an issue other then that clear sailing this week.:cheer::breakdancer:

Off to start the week. Have a great Monday,

Morning

JUDY  I never really fell asleep .I went up to bed around 11:30 .I never just go to sleep I like to watch TV and go on the computer .When it was around 1 I just thought I should try as I do every night .Never happened .So instead of fighting it I watched more TV .Saw Flatliners which I haven't seen in a long time .A few home improvement shows a little news and before I knew it It was 6 and time to get up to see Jen off to school .:shoot me:I kept saying that once I got Joseph on the bus I was going to take a melatonin but I haven't .I don't even feel like sleeping .I should have taken it last night so maybe I could have slept. Have you tried it ?

I told my aunt to try it .She just didn't want to go on a prescription .She is blessing me because it is working. I find that if I am going to sleep I am .I will take it when I think of it .I guess for me it may or may not make a difference.

So do I lay down and try to get a few or do I just continue boxing up the Christmas Stuff:confused:
Warm day the sun was out but it has gotten very cloudy and grey:vomit:I do think I should look at the weather for tomorrow .My GF and I (she lives across the street)said we would take down the decorations together .We at least can yell across the street.

I doubt I am going to sleep I am afraid if I do I will have another bad night:shock:

Good morning all :big grin:

Lee, Accuweather says we're due for 1.5 inches of rain starting tomorrow night into Thursday night.

We're going out and about today, so it looks like tree won't get started until Wednesday at the earliest. Oh well, it still looks nice. Today will be the last day that we light it.

Lee, we have our nativity on a buffet thingie, so I put the wise men at the far end and bring them closer every other day. Baby doesn't go in until Christmas Eve.

Same here!  Not that it will matter to me since I'll be at work all day. :(

The night of Spamalot was a disaster.  Some idiot crashed his plane on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.  We got caught in the mess and it took us an hour and a half to get into DC.  We missed the begining of the first act. :fingers  I'm so pissed off I can barely stand it.  I've been waiting to see this show since it opened.

The idiot lived BTW.  He was flying a plane he built in his garage for the first time. :fingers

That's a cute idea.  I would do it except I have about thirty nativities so it wold be too high maintenance. Maybe I'll do it with my big one next year.

Of course, I don't know when the wise men get there so I'd have to wing it.

Yeah.  The fact that no one was killed allows me to be pissed off. :P

Becky, you are correct, that did suck. Guess you'll have to go again :P. As for the wise men thing, I think the arrival day is January 6. Lee (and my dad) called it little Christmas. It's also called the Epiphany. If you are interested, here is a site with an explanation http://www.serve.com/shea/germusa/3kings.htm

We actually took a walk without freezing our tails off today. It was nice and supposed to even better tomorrow :big grin:.

Did anyone watch American Gladiators last night? It is on again tonight which I think is it's normal night .I loved that show when it was on I think they said 14 years ago. Joseph loved it so now it is on our dvr lineup. When it was on the first time I was lifting weights living on chicken broccoli baked potato lots of egg whites and protein drinks MORNING too  everything was body-building Joe too. Now look at us:dangit:At least I have an excuse I had two kids but didn't gain any weight. Now Joe on the other hand:eyeroll:

Lee, no I haven't bought it yet. I have the name here on my desk that you gace me.

Cha, going to bed early doesn't work for me, I know it does for some for  me I just wake up at 1 or 3 and then I can't go back to sleep. I actually feel worst when I do that.

Becky, I'm sorry you missed the begining if it makes you feel any beter it got better as it went on :big grin: You will need to do a redo.

I want to see Mary Poppins and Little Mermaid. let me know how it is Grace.

BAD, BAD news for our district this weekend, you might have seen it on the news if you're in NJ or NY as it was on ABC news. A 15 year old girl was raped in the school boys room after school on Friday 3:30-4pm . It was in our local paper Sun. What a mess 5 boys are arrested and maybe more to be charged. I heard a rumor there was 7 invovled. Makes me sick. I believe she is okay but with have issues for the rest of her life I'm sure.

So it's been a busy day to say the least. Our phone didn't stop ringing, now no one wants their kid to walk to school. I don't blame them but then drive them, if you're worried. Plus I'm a staff short.

BUT good news is my cruise is 68 days away.:tropics:

Hope everyone had a better day.
