I have a question for those of you coming to my party who drink beer.
I have a few cans of Coors light, what else should I get? What brand?
I know absolutely NOTHING about beer.....
Thomas is working on the Bathroom tiling, he's having a few "problems"......
But, it WILL be done by the party, just no showers till Monday, when the grout is dried.
Laurel will have to use the "Family Bathroom"......

And a good morning to all  .
Looks like it will be warm and sunny today. We're going to try to get a couple of batches of cookies made this morning before it gets too miserable. The chocolate krinkles have to be refrigerated for at least 3 hours so we'll mix them up and bake them in the morning. Weather looks to be good on Saturday. We'll probably leave in the morning and stop for breakfast on the way.
I'm holding off on trimming my hedge until next week, so that it won't get too bad before we return. I only have to notify one credit card and my ATM card people and do the stop mail and newspapers. Our police department has a service where you give them a card with your travel information and they kind of do checks on your house while you are gone.
Well, I have been told it's time to bake the cookies

| Oh yeah, SJ, any kind of beer is fine, but if there's no other beer drinkers, don't buy just for me. I'll drink anything :)

GOOD MORNING.....!!!
Sara is off to the Senior Center for a few hours. She has to have 30 hour's of "Community Service" to graduate, so she is "trying out" our local "seniors".......:tellemgramps: :smiley:
Thomas is finishing up with the bathroom, just a few more tiles and HE IS DONE....!!! 
Of course there is thin set tracked ALL OVER THE HOUSE....!!!
My Darling DH kind of made a BIG, BIG, BIG MESS....!!!
But, seriously, I am SO PROUD AND IMPRESSED WITH HIM....!!!:numberone:
That he EVEN ATTEMPTS to try all sorts of new things, just AMAZES ME.....!!!
My house still looks a mess, PLEASE DON'T look to closely.......

I often wonder how Dawn is ?? I hope she made a full recovery .I forgot what her id on CC was .Maybe she is cruising again. I'm bumming that I can't go this weekend but I will call while you're all there I've only heard from Dawn once after the cruise. She was finish up chemo and doing very well. The doctors expected a full recovery. Her screen name over there was Beachmusic but she never posted on the NCL board again.

I went and checked this out. I can't believe that a couple people were such assholes.  I hate, hate, hate the NCL board over there.
It sounds like it will be fun for you to do. I like the new cruiser idea. My suggestion would be to talk about choosing the right cruiseline as one of the topics.
Judy, I meant to post on that thread but I couldn't believe some of the snotty responses you were getting. I thought only my in -laws were that obnoxious.

Hi everyone finally home from work. No lunch or breaks all day Long Day but we got a lot done.
The Time Warner guy came and we finally got our phone back. Let's see how long it lasts.
We're going into Walgreens tonight to get Jerry's passport picture done. Need to make sure he gets it back in time.
SJ, we will be driving so no beer for one of us Ice water will do for me, I usually carry a jug with ice water. It will be too hot for milk
Off to make dinner and get ready to drive into town.

Yeah - I know!!
The girls were going through their pin collection to see which pins that they will be bringing to trade. Wouldn't you know it but Emma was having a hard time finding ones to part with. That girl always wants to keep everything!

We are not really drinkers. Whatever you have will be absolutely fine. Ice water will do. Beside beer is fattening - saving my calories for COOKIES!!!
After smelling those cookies via cyberspace for so long, we finally get to eat some!!

Snickerdoodles and chocolate chunk cookies are done and the chocolate krinkle dough is in the fridge until we bake them tomorrow morning.
SJ, ditto on the don't worry about the house thing. I lost my white gloves a long time ago . And I'm very nearsighted.

SJ,. My mother Mary called last night and she will not be able to join us. There's a classic car show here this weekend and she has no one to cover the Visitor's Center if she takes off. She said to say Hi to everyone.

Hmmm...I think the only picture I have of Dennis is from the Quest.

Good morning everyone
TGIF for sure, it's been a long week.
We are going to Lebanon Valley Race Track tonight, with our nephews it's "Night of Fire" there will be a band, fireworks and they are doing something with a school bus, should be fun but a long day and night, with no nap Al Hope I say awake

Geez Judy, a day without a nap is like a day without sunshine .
Sorry you won't be able to make the party Becky, but I wouldn't drive that either if it were my first day off. When do you head for Egypt again? I forget  .
