Maybe Pete can come up with a small ship or scooner that all of us can take a cruise on.  we can double as the crew.

odds are in your favor - how many times have we all seen information provided by NCL reps that was plain wrong.

I am glad you are both thinking this way. I feel better now:kiss:

I will not believe it until it is confirmed.  I just emailed my PCC and ask her to investigate! Who knows, maybe my PCC checks her work email on the week end...Dave does and I assume Jim does.

Thanks Sharon

Your welcome.

As a rule the PCCs sitting out west are the last to know. When the cancelled the first NYC Gem Cruises to keep the Gem in Europe and extra month they were not aware until after the press release. They had no idea why bookings stopped on the POAM and POAL earlier this year until we did.

That said it can not hurt to ask ;)

PS - things that make me wonder - Why would they raise the fares a couple $100 this past week if they were going to cancel tomorrow ?

Good point...

I decided to try and get the facts. Just sent an email to a trusted executive source in Miami. One of two things will happen we will find out it is true or the NCL Rep at the show will have a bunch of explaining to do tomorrow.

Thanks for trying to get a handle on this.  You're point about the erecent increase in fares is a good one.  I find it hard to believe they would raise fares and then communicate this recent news to a tradeshow person in a matter of days.   Seems odd to say the least.

Maybe we should be the Jaded Drunks.  I am sure we will come up with a name after a few drinks at El Bandito's

A new name will surface but we will still have the OGG thread. I have a solution for the luggage problem. A couple of options but I would go big and tell Fil to bring all she wants :big grin:

What would you all do if you didn't have Fil to poke fun at ????? :confused:life would be sooo boring. :spank: here is a bop on the head to Jimmy, Greg and Jim.

I prefer the bigger one also.

Poor Fil, I feel for you. How much did the luggage weigh the first time around?

THANKS Sharron - we women have to stick together - right Christine !!!!!:P

:nono: Don't ask me Fil. Jimmy brings more clothes and hats than I do. :P

After my Mom passed away Jimmy booked the   7 day DAWN in Nov 2006. While it was nice to get away and get my mind off of things, we are not interested in doing a 7 day FL/Bahamas cruise in Feb.

Not a big fan of sailboats. Once in awhile they are fun though.

Just checked the NCL site. They are sill offering JADE cruises from NY for 2/5/09:big grin:

Good Morning Sharon:kiss:

I do hope that if they are indeed going to cancel the cruise, they let us know as soon as possible. So we can make other plans ASAP. Before the air fare and hotels go up or are booked

Its funny, I just called NCL to confirm my reservation. I asked about the rumor and he said Feb of next year is a long way off...... its to early to say. If the ship keeps getting booked and the prices are going up, they would be crazy to cancel.

Chris, Do you think you and Jimmy are going to make dinner on th 8th ? I think I asked this before but I have no memory.

Good morning Chris. I think you passed your connection problems this way. HOw was your week end of shopping?  Did you find all the vanities and sinks?
