I've always wanted to go to Norway - what could be better than a cruise to Norway on NCL?

Anyone else joining us?

As of 7 pm last night I am booked. I really want to see how they get those sardines off the hook and into the can. I also heard thay have beautiful Fords there as well. I wonder why no Chevy's:big grin::big grin:

Looks like we will need a big room for the Meet and Greet :roflmao:

This cruise is #1 on our wishlist since the itinery came out but we still haven't found a dog sitter for the period specified.

All you need to do is get a harness for the dog, dark glasses for you, and bring her as a service dog. She will love the trip.

You could bring your dog too, Jim - I'm sure it would be better than "doggie jail" :big grin:

Funny thing for 3 or 4 days after I got back from the Gem the dog would stand by the car when I let him out. He wanted to go back to doggie prison. I guess he likes having company during the day. Go figure.

PS - I just looked at the AB pricing. I thought it would be great as my son could bring his girlfriend. It made me think again  :vomit: At least most of them are not booked. Maybe we can get lucky again.

We booked an aft facing BA originally (2nd May) as the prices were even higher than they are now.  There was then a LARGE drop in price (7th June) and we upgraded to the AF and still saved money.  However, there has been no change in the prices since then - we obviously need to WISH harder for the AB prices to reduce.  At least the 3rd person is fairly cheap!

However, IF the sofabeds are added to the suites we will look to upgrade to the AE which gives the perks and is AFT facing which I think will be great for Norway's fjords.

It is strange the AFs are still less then the BAs. I originally had selected a BA aft on 10 but decided to save $ and upgrade,

Great news :big grin:

Callum is learning German at school so we've suggested he can practise on you!

I'll send you on (by e-mail) a number of links I've found for the places we're due to visit.  So far all I've done is find the links - haven't looked at them in any detail.

Hi Kids -

Nice to see the old crowd!

We've been booked on this one since the intin was opened.....aft AF.

Still undecided, though, if we will travel with NCL again......so we'll firm up closer to the sailing.

I will keep you on the list. So far we have 4 of the aft AFs with this little group here. We can own deck 11 aft and steal a butler. :big grin:

Like your way of thinking! :big grin:

Callum would really like my parents to join us - they would have to have the cabin next to Laurel and Charlie (HC one)!!

PM'd insidecabin about our "block booking" - they're seriously considering joining us too (with his parents as well).

Shoreguy... Ever since you got back from the Gem TA I noticed that your signature had..."next up: nothing" in it and it just didn't seem right to me. Glad you booked something for the future. What would a shoreguy be without some type of cruise planned for the future?

Had to cancel my Feb Gem cruise. Sometimes work gets in the way. I saw you were looking for a June cruise jump onboard. Not a bargain but an itinerary you may never see again.

My mum's coming up with every excuse imaginable to not come so no need for you to consider swapping!  If they were to join us, my dad would need the handicapped accessible AF - he'd never be able to climb into the bath!

Normaly we would wait and just grab an inside and a OV somewhere midships on one of the cruises around June, but we like the idea of this one a lot and the AF on the TA and guest status upstairs(thanks guys) has spoilt us a lot.

I guess we could grab the last Aft AF(available today) and one of the insides, I have put the idea of an AB to the old ones to see if they are up for a share its about the same cost(we take the little room) and I do like the cagnies B/fast. This trip has a lot of port time so that also needs to be considered.

Prices are a bit high for this trip but the short north cape season means there are only a few trips each year so they are in demand every year and tend to sell well with few late discounts.( I think I am convincing myself to book)

Personaly I think the CV(2 sold) are way over so there is a good chance there will be movement, but having said that they managed to shift them all for the round britain which is normaly a slow selling cruise on other lines, above AF there is 1 GV left so never even got to see the pricing.

I have put this trip on close cabin/price watch, hoping they don't move the prices against us, till we decide on one cabin for the 4 of us or two cabins.

For those that like to keep records here is the uk pdf for this cruise.

I think La and Cha already have one of the handicapped accessible AFs so they would be neighbors :big grin:

Even for me the prices are a bit of sticker shock on this cruise. I would have been waiting this ine out if I did not get in the cancelation mess for my Feb. cruise. I have to look at the waived cancelation fees as a discount. Makes me feel better.

Book and we can all watch the fares together and jump on every price decline if they happen. At some point the AFs will have to be more then the BAs. The question is do they raise the AFs or lower the BAs.

We will eat in Cagney's even if I have to email Klaus for HELP :partytime:
