You are absolutely NOT nutz! Alaska is phenomenal and needs to be visited as many times as you can go.
We're going on our 3rd trip next May and are very much looking forward to it.

Oops! Let me correct myself. We are going on our 3rd cruise to Alaska next May - after that cruise, we will have been to Alaska 5 times.

I missed Skagway / Haines on other cruises, and haven't done a cruise tour yet, so am researching a tour with a southbound.
Airfare is a killer tho (Toronto - Vancouver-Anchorage). Maybe I could get lucky this far out (May or June 08)
We both love Alaska and want to try it in the spring.

I wish NCL did the one way so I could add on a land tour. I am going to have to do this some day.
I have not been to Haines but have done Skagway twice. The first time we took the WPR and this last time we rented a car and went into the Yukon. I loved the whole drive up to Emerald Lake.

We just booked an AE today and my husband and I will be joining you on this cruise to Alaska!
This will be our 6th cruise to Alaska! We will be celebrating my husband's retirement and our 40th Wedding Anniversary!

I am so happy to hear.  This sounds like it is going to be a very special cruise for you. I look forward to sailing with you next year.
I saw your post on CC about Glacier Bay pictures but managed to get myself banned before I could post a reply. We did spend most of the day on our balcony.

| In looking at the NCL website today, I noticed some price reductions in the Courtyard Villas and Owner's Suites if anyone is interested!

Hi Brunolvr,
I think Linda and someone else on the roll call at CC are in Owner's Suites so you might want to post this over there.
I am on the quantity over quality budget right now. Couple months on land and I am ready to get back. Can't wait for the end of September.

I have been wondering where everyone disappeared to. I emailed Sandy today only to find out that you have been "banned" from the other site. I am confused about all of the people getting banned so I must be missing something.
I am just glad to find the roll call for our trip.

Hi Linda,
I am so happy you found me at CTT...and a big thanks to Sandy. I was hoping to find a way to let you know what was going on and that I just didn't up and quit posting.
The whole banning thing is confusing to me and many others as well. It started with banning of a very popular member, Shoreguy, for no good reason other than the host being jealous of him (my own short take on it). The rest of us got banned for asking about him or questioning why. Kind of silly.
Anyway, send me an email sometime. I am still looking forward to sailing with you next May.

| Has anyone checked out the fares in the past week for our cruise? It appears some of them have gone down a little! I saved $100 -- not much but every little bit helps!

Thanks for letting us know about this. Since that original drop when we saved 1100.00 it appears that ours has gone back up. Have you seen this happen before?

Last year, it seemed rates started off low. We booked early and for our cruise date the rate just continued to go up. This year it seemed like the rates started off really high,especially for suites. So I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to jump around for awhile.

My brother and his wife (also from Washington State) will be joining us on the Pearl to Alaska on May 25, 2008. They just booked an aft mini-suite.

I guess we must be getting all the Aft Mini's in our group, we have two ourselves. Last year we had an AE Aft room and this location is the best.
We signed up 3 more this week, my Sister-In-Law & two sons.
Sandy, is this your Brother and his wife's first cruise to Alaska or have they done this before like you?
