Next month it will be 6 years that I had breast cancer surgery so I can somewhat understand the stress and uncertainty that your family is going through. -Sandy-
Thanks Sandy! I do remember reading about your recovery from cancer in your roll call last year.

And it looks like we've got beautiful Seattle weather for you to enjoy on your arrival and through the weekend!
We've got rain Tuesday, Wednesday and tapering off on Thursday with upper 60's (and maybe better) on Friday and the weekend! Sounds good to me!
Let's hope Alaska will be as good!:cloudnine: -Sandy-

Hi, Jeff,
WHAT A DAY!!!!! MY new favorite phrase .......
SUPER BOWL INDY
2112 at NEW
LUCAS STADIUM
Other than that, I am cool, calm, and collected and ready to sail. We leave early Friday morning from Indy. After doing business Fri. PM, Following that, I am dedicating Sat. to whatever my wife wishes to do. Sun. our group is planning to arrive, thanks to Sandy's suggestion, at 11:00 at the pier. My hope is that some of us could have lunch shortly after boarding. What do you think about that idea? Now I have to go to attend Super Bowl 2012 party!!!!!!

Lol...starting the party early. Congrats, looking forward to seeing that new stadium.
We are planning on arriving around 11 as well. We have a large group and will be helping them get aquainted with the ship but if we can find a place to meet up then lunch sounds great. You could just be on the lookout for some nice crimson Sooner gear.
OK folks, got some good and bad news this week. First, today my FIL's sister got a scope done and it looks like the tumor has not spread. They still have some more test but it is looking good and surgery is going to be the first week of June. So it is looking very good that we will ALL be making the trip.
The downer this week , is a member of our Pearl cruise last year just found out her cancer has come back.
Very excited about this much needed cruise but just a bit concerned for a dear friend.
Jeff

| Cancer SUCKS! I'm very sorry to hear about your family and friend having to deal with this awful thing. I have had many friends and family deal with it also and one very close one fighting the battle right now. My prayers are with all of them.

Ditto on the cancer sucks statement. Prayers and well wisher to you friend, and happy news for your FIL's sister.
Looks like we will be there around 11:00 at the dock. We are thinking of going to Summer Place for a nice lunch, until the room is ready. Might as well be spoiled right off the bat.
Have my Alaska stickers to wear at the pier all done, and packing if is finally done.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news since Jeff put me in charge of the Seattle weather, but Sunday is looking a little "iffy". The weatherman can't make up his mind if it's going to be sunny or rainy, so now it's going to be both !
Here's his official report as of this morning, but remember it could change again by Sunday:
Friday looks very nice with generally partly to mostly sunny skies and temperatures getting into the mid-upper 60s. Then, the weekend, forecasting models are pretty consistent on a big area of low pressure building around northern Nevada/southern Idaho and then drifting west back through California/southern Oregon as the weekend progresses. Forecasting models are very inconsistent on whether showers rotating around that low will spin back into Western Washington from the east. The Cascades should do a decent job of blocking most of them, but we just can't rule out some showers making it over and into our region. But here is what we're going with at this point: Any showers would be few and far between, with plenty of dry time in between. And you'll have a better chance of showers the father south you go as you'll be closer to the low. Same goes for sunshine, and the best chances for theses showers would be late Saturday into early Monday.
The weekend as a whole is not looking too bad and certainly not a big three-day rainout. We just can't promise 100% dry. So wrapping that up, we're going partly to mostly sunny all three days -but cloudier farther south, with just a risk of a stray shower at times. Highs will stay in the mid-upper 60s. We've seen worse. Long range models punt this low just as the weekend ends, so back to pleasant and more solid dry weather for the middle of next week, with seasonal high temperatures in the mid-upper 60s.

Since the "other" cruise board is having database errors and I can't send or read any messages over there, I wanted to wish all my fellow cc'ers a safe and trouble-free journey to Seattle.
I am looking forward to meeting all of you and we'll see you at the M&G on Monday if not before! As you're roaming about the ship, I'll be the one with camera in hand and a BIG smile on my face!:picture:
BON VOYAGE!:balloons: -Sandy-

Ditto that! You won't ever see me without one of my camera's in tow, lol. :picture: Safe travels to everyone! We are leaving on Saturday morning and then a mad rush to see what Seattle has to offer in the afternoon.

I remember someone asking about Oklahoma state coins. I accidently overbought on my uncirculated coin sets. I have 4 of both the D minted and P minted coins for Oklahoma (uncirculated) if anyone wants them.
I also have some Adams and Monroe presidents coins (D & P minted uncirculated) if anyone wants some.
Just let me know.
See you all in Seattle.

...I contacted Maybelin yesterday about our M&G and bar setup and she did confirm what you & Norma had told us that we should be the first sailing with 2.0.
