| OK, Jeff. I found it. I think it is really great that you have started this roll call for your cruise. On behalf of your fellow cruisers on 5/25/08, I nominate you to co-ordinate the CTT M&G for your cruise. No Pressure!!!! Last edited on Tue Jul 24th, 2007 01:37 am by CruisinLawdog

I'm ready, but unfortunately neither my vacation schedule or my bank balance is keeping up with my desire . Have a wonderful time though. We sailed on the Pearl on May 20th this year and had a great time!

Hi ute_fan:
We sailed a week after you this year on the Pearl. I have seen your post around the NCL & Alaska threads. LOVED THE PEARL!
We had a really good M&G group this year, so hopefully they will all show up over here.
Jeff

I really wish we could plan a return trip next year, but with two kids in college and an "iffy" job situation, I don't think it's going to happen.

Why do you & Leon keep picking on me?
Now we need to get the rest of the gang over here. I really need to get Randie to join since she is the only one who will take up for me.

I'm here for you now, Jeff. Anyone reading this post, Jeff & Suzanne are wonderful people and I highly recommend them as travel buddies. I would sail all over the world with them (if I only had the time and money!!!).
Jeff is a fellow BOOMER SOONER and we met on another unmentioned cruiser board. He is a wealth of information on cruise questions, especially Norwegian.

Two kids in College has to drain the funds pretty quick. We did Captain Larry this year and loved it but we may do Harv & Marv next year. I noticed you went with them this year and I know they have had great reviews for the past couple of years as well.

LOL...Randie you are too good to me. ...wealth of information is a slight over statement...I am just a lurker :lurker and reporting back to you.
As far as sailing anywhere with me, you can start with this cruise. Pass on some mis-information to Hubby and tell him the seas get really rough in July...May would be better.

Hey Jeff,
I would really love to go back in May but Debbie (SIL) has her heart set on July, her birthday month and we have taken 2 cruise vacations together so it has become our annual event with them.:balloons: This year, I've invited everyone else in our family but so far, only Kevin's parents have expressed genuine interest. I know more of them would love to go but I think the money is a bit steep for most of them.
Man, there are some nasty emoticons on this website!!! Take care and remember that I'll always have your back!!!

If you decide to try Harv & Marv next year, tell them "hi" from Ron and Susan in Utah, and Judy and Bob in George. We had such a great time with them that it's one of the few excursions I would actually plan on repeating. Nothing against other great excursions, but if they're mainly scenery, I prefer to see something different the next time. With the whale watching, however, it seems like it would be a new experience each time!

I will for sure. Like you, this will be my third whale excursion in Juneau and I just couldn't go and not go on a whale excursion.

I should of just titled this thread, NCL Pearl Alaska - 05/27/07. Now if we can just get Sandra, Norma and Big L over here, I can begin the secret vote process and nominate the rightful leader of the cruise, BIG L.
I sure hope these boards take off, otherwise let me just say thanks for the last great roll call I participated in.
BTW, any of you nice people willing to post a clean, polite message on my roll call at CC letting them know I am not going to be back. The inner child got the best of me yesterday and now I am banned for good.
Regards,
Jeff

Hi Norma:
Thanks for popping in and lending support. Hopefully, timing will work out and we will be able to stop by and see you and Harold in October.

We all just got back this year on the Pearl to Alaska. Most of us are going back next year but at different times.
This will be my third trip and NJR has been to Alaska 7 straight years so we don't think you are nutz.
