I did not book before the price increase but I did get a 20% plus discount by booking with Casino at Seas. Took them a long time to check my play onboard but the final price was worth it.

Hello Everyone

I havent booked yet. I think I am going to. I just can't tell Pete until it gets closer. Its his busy time at work. Buts its on a weekend. He will be happy when he is on the ship.

Dave, will you go to the bar and listen to his music, like Win did? Or maybe Win is coming (I hope, I hope) too.

Hey, I can do that.  I can't drink anymore and I don't need to blow $$$$ in the casino, so yes, I can do that.

HI gang,  been really busy the last two days, I am sorry I haven't been around.   Also I have been looking at sites about Bermuda, will be going there for the first time in Sept.   Any one ever been there?   Anyone been on the Majesty?   The one great thing about this relaxing trip to nowhere is NO PLANNING of what to do in port!!

What do you bring in the line of clothing on a trip to nowhere?

Glad to be back

missed you

A change of underwear in a travel bag along with contact stuff, meds, and toothbrush/paste. :big grin:  Whatever we take it will be light.

We'll be heading to the Jewel after the Spirit and we do not want to bring all our luggage on the Spirit. I think we are parking at the pier with our luggage in the trunk.

Yeah, I plan on a small carry-on, that's it. I will bring a change of clothes for the next day, my toothbrush, meds ... and not much else. Maybe a sleepshirt for the few hours I will probably sleep!

I don't even want to bother with a camera, so hopefully some other OGGs will.

How lucky are you to be going on the Jewel, where are you going.   I love the Jewel, I have been on her twice!!!  Just made another credit card payment on the cruise, I like to whittle it down.

We're cruising the NE, Canada areas. This will be our first time on the Jewel but we have cruised the Pearl and Gem (3 times) so are familar with the layout.

You would be surprised at how many of us still visit the dark side...;) many of us as ourselves and many not. :angeldevil1:

Dwrist,

That is a great ship to take the NE canada trip on.   The layout is so easy to get around.   I am glad others still visit the dark side.   I haven't found any others on these boards who are going on the Majesty Sept 20, I got no responses to my roll call, it is still early I could still find someone.   One thing I never miss on the Jewel is Cagney's  going to miss it alot on the trip on the Majesty, I wish they had Cagney's instead of the LeBistro, I am not a big fan of French food.   Give me a big whole LOBSTER and I am as happy as one could be.

Take care

Of course no one's mad! That's why we like it here--it's about freedom. Of expression, of what you talk about, of where you wanna go, and who you wanna do it with!

Hi Greenie,

That is great, I won't get myself in trouble over here, I can't tell you how many times I was in hot water before.   I see you were on the Gem, how was it, did you like it?   Where did you go.   Where the colors as bright as the pictures seem to be of the ships interior?   How many resteraunts did you try, what was your favorite?

thanks

Yea Greenie, which is your favorite restaurant? :angeldevil1:

You didn't ask me but I have to say the Asian/Pacific Rim restaurant is up there. I like the food in both Teppanyaki and the Asian/Pacific Rim restaurant. I also like Sushi, but have no one to eat it with me. ;) There really is not a  favorite as they all (including the main dining rooms) are great to us, even the buffet on the Gem and the Blue Lagoon at 1-2am. Cagneys is good but the last couple of times we have eaten in Cagneys the lobster was not all that good, seemed a little mushy not firm as fresh should be.
