Guess we'll have to call the limo company and clean the "other" spare room .... EH ?

.If Joanne comes we can go to her and walk to the ship .Well maybe my luggage may need a ride.
Lee, you can stay at my house, send your shoes to Captn.lol
Congrats on booking. I hope we (or at least me) can go

That'll be a long walk .... but after the sea glass issue you probably won't have a problem
It's only 3.6 miles, she can do it.

I thought she said she was only 7 minutes from the ship??? What's the matter Cptn...age creepin' up on ya!!!
I thought she was close too.
Who am I kidding .I'm on vacation no walking .I want to go in style
Looks like a job for......"THE PIMPMOBILE"....!!!!!! :pimp:
:toocool:
My reservation is showing but wrong cabin .I guess they didn't read my email
I'll call after 10
I found a review where the people were on 9 and they walked through the dining room to get to the cabin .I guess it may be easier depending on where you are coming from because I do see stairs and elevators but I don't think I would want to be going in and out in the middle of dinner time. Now if it were the buffet that would be perfect.:smiley:On 10 I see that the only way to get to the cabins would be stairs and elevators unless they have an entrance on both sides-of the theater.Really not sure and then I was wondering on the open forward deck area are there stairs .Because that would make getting around easy.I think

Oh Lee, I want to so bad. I have looked at prices and they are reasonable. But I can't plan on spending any money that is not absolutly necessary until we file Nick's financial aid forms. I'm not sure how much aid we'll get and I'd hate to have to sorry "sorry kid, no college for you Mommy went on a cruise"lol

At least we got through that part. He even has a chance at early admission to his first choice school (football did that ) If he gets early admission and accepts it he can't look at any other schools. But, if he accepts it we can apply for financial aid right away and we'll know what we're dealing with. Then I can think about going back to Bermuda (where I belong) with you guys (and my Moosehead )

Did you see Grace's pictures .That backpack was filled with glass.I never thought of how I was getting it back as I was collecting it .I was just worried that I would throw out my back .Sam fought me to take it but I was afraid he would get hurt. Finally they forced me (it looked like I was getting mugged )and he took it off my back.
There was one point where we had her up against a wall helping her shorten her backpack straps too!! We were all laughing about how it would have looked to passerbys.
So, Sam and I looked like we were mugging AND molesting Lee at some point along the long walk!!
It was nice to have Lee along for company during the walk. Ask Lee but Sam was leaving us in the dust. He was so far ahead that he was out of sight much of the time.

Okay I have been looking up info on the cabins and so far I seem to be reading that all the cc's on 9 have that floor to ceiling window .At least 9020 and I think 9015
Also the walking in the dining room is not a big deal since it seems they set it up with a passenger walkway.
Deck 10 is not .At least while the shows are on but I would think always.
I found a blog by a Jean Ann Ryan singer /dancer and it was pretty funny because right by the doors that people think they can use even though it says no entrance is the small area that is suppose to be a dressing room.People have gotten more than they bargained for It seems they have no room behind stage and even the area in front of the elevators becomes a green room for them.
I still have to call the TA but I just want to make sure of the cabin before I change it

That's pretty well the same info I came up with Lee, except that I think that some have large picture windows instead of floor-to-ceiling.

Yep - Easter/Passover again. Got an Aft balcony too! Woohoo! It may get switched over to Easter/Passover 2010 when the 2010 itineraries come out and there is a similar cruise over the holidays. All depends if China is a go in 2009 or not.
But since I had that cruise rewards deposit burning a hole in my pocket, I just had to book the aft balcony just in case because if I didn't, it would be just my luck to have the China trip delayed to 2010 and no room or higher prices on the 2009 cruise.
Why? Thinking of going too? Joseph AND Jennifer should have the SAME week off in 2009 and 2010 since Easter and Pasover overlap in those 2 years!! The Aft balcony next to our is STILL available!!

I have a headache from reading.I think the cabin next to the one we booked had floor to ceiling since she said they were over 6 feet.I still want to change because I would prefer the Queen.I think I should call now and then get some work done around here
catch ya later

Grace, going to China is a dream trip for me. I live in a mostly (87%) Chinese neighborhood and have become familiar with a lot of chinese customs. I would love to go there if I had a better handle on the language. (and if I had the money )

Morning
Horrible weather .It is warm and muggy .Rain and wind Today is Jennifers birthday and thinking back 12 years we had snow already .I remember because the first visit to the hospital on the 13th was a very icy ride .Of course it was not time and they sent me home in the morning.By the time we took her home the weather was warmer and sunny but still colder than the weather we have now. That year we had so much snow .I remember being home with her and Joe couldn't even go to work.I wonder if we will get snow this year I want a blizzard if we do
Have some things to pick up and I need a present for the Cat .She is two today Scruffy will be 4 on Monday.Nov is a busy birthday month .FIL 's birthday too

Captn, that's true for the city as a whole but my neighborhood is mostly chinese. When the kids get to the middle school level its funny to watch because my kids, who speak english, are used to going to school with kids that speak manderin or cantonese. All of a sudden they're in the cafeteria hearing thai, vietnamese and so on..... They're totally confused.lol
