With the price we paid I'll just be glad they don't put us to work.

LOL!  If we find name tags in our rooms, we'll know we're in trouble!

:big grin:Isn't that the truth?  Glad to hear you're closer to being fixed too Margaret.  Now we're just waiting for Aimee!  How ironic is that?  Have you heard from your PCC yet Aimee?

I wonder why Fran was able to get mine fixed on line immediately but they're still having trouble with the others.  Very weird system.

Fran unfortunately has to wait until Monday because the Revenue Department isn't open on the weekends.  So I should finally be sorted out on Monday (I'm to call her at 1:00)!

 I mentioned this cruise/price on the Dark Side  (I had to rub it in) and the following things were said:

We'll be rowing the ship

We'll be getting crew quarters

We'll be doing dishes

Our cabin won't have doors or bathroom

-Monte (I figure we'll be having a good time!)

CTT has some new "created" avatars and cubechick has one from that section...I like it too....and it seems to describe me as well.

You're exactly right!  (Although I didn't take it from the avatars on CTT!)

I'm not "officially" on this darn trip yet, but I'm an optimist!  My glass is half full of rum Swizzle!

Me too!  Gotta love the "Swagger Out" gift shop!  It's especially satisfying to wear the shirt BEFORE you dock in Bermuda!  :big grin:

Breaking news!  I just heard from Jan the CSR that I spoke with on Wednesday.  She apologized for getting back to me so late, but wanted to assure me that she had not forgotten me (yeah, CC, NCL's customer service just sucks!).

Anyhoo, she assured me that my price has been adjusted in their system back to the correct price (not that I can see that of course).  Her supervisor is in tomorrow (and this time I have his name & number) and she will call or email me tomorrow to let me know that my friend's reservation has been corrected as well.  Once I have confirmation that both have been changed, I will pay everything off in full.

Not that I don't have faith in Monte's PCC ;), but it would be very cool to be able to leave her a message saying, "It's all been taken care of, but please transfer these two bookings over to you so you can get the commission!  Thanks for your help!"

It would make everyone happy I think!

:tropics:

In all the craziness of the last few days I somehow missed the first page of this thread.  Just went back to the beginning and read all the great Bermuda info you guys posted.  Since I booked completely on impulse and knew nothing at all about the island, after reading all that info I'm really looking forward to going.

I'm glad that you're excited.  Bermuda is my favorite island. It's just so clean, beautiful and the people are so friendly.  The only downfall is that since it's not in the Caribbean, it's really only a good "beach" destination for about 7 months out of the year.

Our trip will either be my 7th or 8th visit (as we still are looking at sailing on the Dream out of Boston for our usual vacation in June)!

The only people that I've ever heard of being disappointed in Bermuda are those looking for a giant "girls gone wild" sort of party atmosphere.  As my DH just said, there is no Senior Frogs w/ upside down Margaritas and wet t-shirt contests.  Not that there aren't a few (maybe that should be "a couple" of) club-type places, but most of the bars are along the style of the English pub...

Another thing that is fun is that w/ the ship in port a couple of nights, weather permitting, there is usually some sort of a themed party on the ship in the pool area...

Hmmm...thought the men in the group might have a different perspective...:big grin:

If you find it ABSOLUTELY necessary, we can improvise and come up w/ an upside down rum swizzle!

However, you're on your own w/ the wet t-shirt contest!  ;) :yay:

Oh, absolutely not!  I knew you were joking...but didn't want to put that into my reply because it would have made it less funny!

(Although DH says there's no joking around about such "serious" topics!) :big grin:

He sounds almost as irreverent about such things as I am!  Can't wait to meet him (and you also darlin')

Now to something more serious....when it comes time, I wonder if we can get enough of our little group to say they would attend to get a martini or Margaretta clinic set up on board?  It would seem if 6 or 8 of us were to guarantee attendance that they could put it in the program one day and at least get a few others to sign up.  (this is all assuming that they won't be holding them anyhow).  Heck, maybe if enough signed up, the clinic could be part of a CTT gathering during one of the sea days!

Hmmm...with THREE sea days we could have THREE "meetings"! :big grin: :martini::big grin:

Seriously I know that the four of us would definitely go for a martini clinic!  So w/ you and your wife that's 6 already!

This is going to be a fun cruise!
