Even with the corrected invoice it could all get screwed up again when we go to use the rewards certificates.....so we need to keep an eye on the reservation at that time as well. I really don't expect the online reservation to ever show up correctlly...

So much for the patient grasshopper.
I left a msg for Jan's supervisor (still couldn't understand the name).
Since she seemed to think he'd fix this by today, I figured I had an excuse.
I'll let you know what (if anything happens)!

LOL........ I like to live dangerously. I don't think there will be a problem, since everything is documented in our reservation about the price. If there is a problem I have faith that it will be straightened out before we cruise.

| NCl just called me. I'm on hold. Thay are not going to honour the price. Offering me category BE(?? or BC can't remember what she said) for $2121 or an OBC of $250 if Istay with G.

So the only way they'll honour this is if I can provide them with a last name or reservation # from one of the other ones that are being honoured. I understand completely if none of you want to do that but if anyone feels like it please pm me and I'll have a go at it again.
The category they're offering is BC but truthfully, we rarely spend extra money on higher category cabins so that doesn't interest me.
Failing this, is there someone higher in the food chain that I should email my confirmation to and express my unhappiness with the booking system?

The price they are offering you doesn't seem that great at all. Stick to your guns about wanting the price on your original hold.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the price of a balcony cabin to go below $199......
I remember a commercial from years ago "$199 are you out of your mind" was the slogan...I have no idea what the product was. Maybe a waterbed?

Monte, I hope your PCC made a note of who she spoke w/ over in revenue...
Oh and if you get an "official word" please PM me. I actually have to work tomorrow,  but hitting refresh real quick and seeing a new message is great! That worked perfect today! I was lurking but unable to really respond. Saw your note and voila! I was in the loop!
And of course I will post if I hear ANYTHING! (I may try contacting that supervisor again if I don't hear anything by lunch time...I just want to pay my $143.98 and get my paid in full notice!)
This exhausting, but well worth saving $1200!!!! More $$$ for Swizzle!

Oh, just a little post. My best friend and her husband were on vacation when I spotted the deal. I couldn't get ahold of them, but figured "Why not?" and booked it for them. If they were daft enough not to want to go, it was easy enough to cancel. Well she finally called me today and just about passed out. Her response was similar to mine...for that price they too would be more than happy to sleep in a lifeboat!
So once we're FINALLY confirmed for real we already have 10 people for a meet and greet!
Woo-hoo!

Now that it's coming together for some of us, I have no doubt it'll come together for all of us!!!!

That's great, it's nice to be able to cruise with friends. I wish I would have thought about booking a couple of extra cabins at the time.....

On a side note my PCC told me that the girls in the upsell office will probably be looking at the full price, and not what we paid.........so when/if the upsell people call don't volunteer the information that we paid less than the on-line site shows.
