I just logged in and thought by now all the "right coasters" would have all doubts settled and we all would be assured the price we booked at is what we've got..and not a peep!  LOL

I sent an email to my PCC this morning and told him to go ahead and make the final payment now of $143.......just to see if I could get a new statement showing it was paid in full.

I think he may be out of the office today......but maybe by tomorrow I will feel more at ease.   Although I hope they don't have a problem when I send in the $500 rewards certificate....I guess I will send a special note along when I send that in.

Good idea!  I think we'd all be more comfortable if we could see that (online) the invoice matches what we originally booked--no matter how often we hear that it isn't that important!

Another possibility would be to have your PCC send you an email with a screen shot of what they are seeing on their screen.   I will ask for that if I don't get an email verification showing paid in full.

My PCC sent me a screen shot for my February cruise because my statements didn't mention any OBC, which was showing on his screen........I wanted proof that I could take on the ship with me.

I haven't been able to contact my PCC.  When I email I get an autoreply that she's out.  Since I didn't use her to book though, I don't know how helpful she would be (but I am trying to work that angle).

UPDATE:  Just got an email from my PCC.  I did not mention how much we had booked at, but I gave her my booking # so she could put her name (and get commission) on the booking.  Without my saying how much we paid, she wrote that we might want to pay it off as it's obviously a computer glitch.  So she must be seeing the amount we booked at on her computer as well-not the $2000+ price we're seeing.  I let her know the NCL has been contacted and we're not positive they intend to honor the price AND I ASKED HER (WITH THIS IN MIND) DOES SHE STILL THINK WE SHOULD PAY IT OFF.

I'll let you all know what she says as soon as she responds.

My PCC just telephoned!  She said that the Revenue Dept has assured her that they WILL HONOR THE PRICE WE BOOKED AT.

But as noted yesterday-any changes to the booking and the price will be lost.

I asked her to charge my CC to pay in full and she said "good idea" and that after that's done she will send me a statement noting that it is paid in full and that the revenue dept has agree that we are locked in at that price.

I was just on NCL.com & logged in to 'my cruises' and there are now 2 booking for this sailing in my acct.  The second one is for $1843.78 (I have no idea where this amt came from).  With a second deposit charged to my card!

Anyone else check recently?

Wow-I just looked at that new booking closer & it says I'm cruising with HERNANDEZ, LAZARO - that's really gonna piss off my wife!

Are the credit card charges still in the pending state?   If they are one may go away on it's own.....hopefully.

My online list only shows 1 reservation, but it has the higher prices listed......which is what my PCC said would continue to show. 

Jan never responded to my email last night, so I don't know if she did anything or not.

2 reservations is better than none, right?

OMG!  Now you're two timing w/ a guy???  :roflmao:

 

I took the advice of my TA and we're not doing anything until Jan @ NCL comes back to deal w/ this on Saturday.  My TA was afraid that if we monkey w/ the booking at all that I'd be screwed.

I'm dying to call someone else @ NCL, but Jan has all of our info...seems to know what she's doing and it's not like I need this fixed today.

I just finished reading these threads to see how you folks have faired with all this today and then called NCL.  Mine is still in the revenue department and no decision has been made.  The rep said to give it 24 - 48 hours more and call back.  I never did hear back from Jan who we were emailing last night.  Did any of you receive a response directly from her?

It would be if either were correct!  I probably shouldn't have emailed my PCC about this as the second reservation has just disappeared....and I'm not so sure that Lazaro wasn't charged & not me! :confused:

Oh, that $1843.78 is the amount of the cruise w/o insurance (and what my booking currently reads).

My PCC seemed to think that NCL would quickly assign our cabin, probably within 24 hours.........but I'm still listed as a GTY.

The race is on to see who's cabin gets assigned first...:big grin:

Jan is not in the office today or tomorrow.

She'll be in on Saturday for us to touch base with...


FWIT, my TA seems to feel that NCL will honor your hold.  That's the purpose of the hold to begin with...to lock in the price.

I haven't heard anything from Jan.  Although I did tell her in my email that my PCC assured me that everything was fine.

I'm assuming a change would be a name change on the reservation, in case my husband didn't want to cruise with me.  

or maybe requesting a specific G category cabin, instead of the guarantee we have booked.

switching TA's

wanting to take advantage of a sales promo, if they offer one in the next year that isn't for new bookings.

Those types of changes/.

If the price is the problem with them feel free to mention that you know of at least 3 couples that were able to get an even lower price since they were latitude members and put the deposit down immediately.
