Linda from my group has had to cancel so now we are only 3 - my DH & I plus my DAd in his inside cabin accross the hall from us.

Thats good, we can check out an inside cabin as well then..:tropics:

Oh well it keeps me from weeping about not being on a cruise until January:shoot me:

I will be on that patch of grass, the longest one actually. Watching the shinanigins as a gyspy moth. So be careful all... I may have my camera lens taking Britney shots, or laying larvae to eat all the grass. So please, leave your stinky shoes on (esp Mike) and stroll closer and spill a nice cold Bellini on the blades beside me..........

What time are you planning to get to the pier, Ann?  Since we'll be on the cruise bus, I don't think we get there till between 1-2:00.

We always plan to arrive att he pier around 11am - want to get as much time a possible aboard.....

And as there are just the 3 of us this time around it should be very easy as only us to get organized and into the car with luggage etc.  Last time there were 7 of us along with a mountain of luggage all to be packed in 1 van....

This will be our first time on the Cruise Bus. Typically, when I fly, I get to the pier around 11:30, so I can have lunch on the ship!  :big grin:
Alas, this time we will be at the mercy of the bus schedule.......:(   Heck, I hope we get there in time for even a quick lunch before the muster drill!

Flights are right around the $350 mark at this point sure hope they come down a bit ...

Will be flying to the east coast to visit with my Dad the end of this month.  As I have a Concierge Class Cabin I can get hor d overs delivered to my cabin daily.. That will be really great as we love to have a pre dinner drink in our cabin each day :drink:

Where did you tell me that your dad lived? Titsuville? We're up in St. Augustine.  Have you ever been there? It's the oldest city in the USA.  I don't think it's a long drive from Titusville....ya'll should drive up for the day and we can meet!

Well, we could rotate ;) as we are in a CC cabin as well with the appy's delivered daily..right around 4 or 4:30 if I remember right from our cruise on Mercury..we sailed the very first cruise on Mercury that offered Concierge Class a few years ago and were very surprised it went so smoothly as we received every amenity listed without asking....

Dear Catnip

Dad is a Snowbird - he lives in Titusville Fl in the winter and in the summer just outside of Montreal Que... Guess I was pretty unclear in my previous e-mail - we are flying eat to visit the family but to Montreal via Seattle - Burlington Vt (lots cheaper that way).  After 2 weeks visiting we return home to await our trip to Florida and our cruise in January.....

While I am visiting the family I will also head up to Ottawa (Canada's capital) to attend a conference for 4 days.  Then the day before we fly home we are (family) putting on a surprise 50th anniversary party for my Aunt & Uncle.  So as you can see the 2 week visit will be very busy!

Yes we have been up to St Augustine a couple of times and really enjoyed our visits.  It is only a couple of hours north of Dad....However only in the winter time!

I am embarrassed to say that I have neglected to look up my cabin number and location.
My bad!

I know we are on the port side up by the front, but I don't know what deck.
I'll try to look this afternoon & let you know!

Dear Catnip

Do not apologize - I am having trouble remembering the ports of call on this cruise.  Which is very unusual for me.  However as I am going for the ship not the itinerary I am not excited about shore excursions etc.  just enjoying the Solstice.

Now this does not mean that I won't go ashore in each port as I will but they are of less significance than the ship this tiem around.
